PUBLISHED April 8, 2015
SHARE

The Sentencing Council recently published a consultation on the amendments to the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991. As you may be aware, maximum penalties have increased and a new offence created of attacks on assistance dogs.
The Sentencing Sub-Committee plans to meet in late April/May to discuss this paper. Any comments on the consultation paper would be most welcome – please see link below – or if you can attend the sub-committee meeting by contacting me by e-mail. Please note this consultation closes on 9th June.
