In criminal proceedings against a youth charged with supplying Class A drugs the failure of a magistrates' court to consider matters under the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 s.24(1) before the entering of a plea did not render its subsequent decision to remit the case for summary trial in a youth court invalid.
