Prisoners sue over human rights

A group of prisoners being held in segregation in Scottish jails is suing the Scottish Prison Service.

The five inmates were convicted of serious offences and held in special segregation units.
In effect prisoners in the units are kept in solitary confinement for 23 hours a day.
