Under the Extradition Act 2003 s.104(7) a decision of a district judge was deemed to be a decision of the High Court and was not amenable to further appeal unless it was suitable for consideration by the House of Lords where that decision was one made following an order of the High Court under s.104(1)(b) of the Act and involved the district judge deciding again a question that he had decided at an original extradition hearing.
