[2011] EWHC 1688 (Admin)

The court determined the extent of a wife's beneficial interest in three properties which she owned jointly with her husband who was the defendant to confiscation proceedings. The presumption of an equal beneficial interest had been rebutted because that was the common intention of the parties, there was an element of gift and there was a clear inference that the money which paid for the properties had been derived, at least in part, from criminal proceeds.
