The powers conferred on a police officer by s.60(4A) Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 were not subject to the provisions of s.2(2)b and s.3 Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. When a police officer requested the removal of a mask by a demonstrator he was not required to give his name, police station and the reasons for the request. * Leave to appeal to the House of Lords refused.
