A custody officer's refusal to wait for a solicitor to call back from the Criminal Defence Service Direct telephone advice service before a breath test procedure was begun, or to interrupt the procedure when the solicitor did call back, was not a breach of the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984 s.58 or Code of Practice C para.6.
