Sentences of six months' imprisonment each, for two offenders, following one offence of robbery was regarded by the Court of Appeal to have been unduly lenient considering that the robbery was carried out at night, on a lone victim and with violence. Accordingly, the sentences were quashed and substituted with terms of three years' imprisonment.
