Plans to give every neighbourhood its own dedicated policing team where everybody knows how to find their local bobbies are being unveiled on Tuesday.

Ministers want to meet public demand for visible policing on the streets and action on nuisance behaviour.
The plans are expected to include a 10-point customers' charter which each police force will have to honour.
