Hertfordshire firm goes into liquidation

A Hertfordshire criminal law firm has gone into liquidation, the Gazette has learned.

Meldrum Solicitors, a two-partner firm which had three offices and employed 11 solicitors, has posted a notice on its website confirming that the firm has closed.

It states: 'We are sorry to inform our loyal clients and staff that Meldrum LLP has gone into liquidation.'

The Gazette understands that the firm went into liquidation on 14 March.

The liquidators are David Rubin & Partners and Kingston Smith & Partners.

A spokesman for the Solicitors Regulation Authority said: 'We have been kept abreast of developments.'
