Exactly 12 months ago, a man left his London office and began his evening journey home. As he walked he was stopped by several police officers. They barred his way. Words were exchanged, and the man was threatened with arrest. He was finally allowed to leave, but the next day someone surreptitiously contacted his employer, made a series of false allegations against him, and secured his sacking. The guardians of justice had seemingly perverted it.
