As voting day in the general election looms, sceptical questions are being asked about the quality of some candidates. It’s a feature of our elections that rogue or joke candidates can take part — and this one is no exception, from comedian Al Murray, the Pub Landlord, standing against Nigel Farage, to Arthur Uther Pendragon, who believes he is the reincarnation of King Arthur.
