The Magistrates' Courts Act 1980 s.127 did not prevent an authority in an application for an anti-social behaviour order from adducing evidence of anti-social behaviour that occurred more than six months before the making of the complaint. The only question was whether, in the individual circumstances of each case, it was fair to admit evidence of "out-of-time" incidents and what weight to give the evidence if it was admitted.
