A person was a partner in a firm, and thus liable jointly with the other partners to creditors of the firm where, notwithstanding the fact that he was not entitled to participate in its profits but was paid a specified sum irrespective of profits, the intention of the parties was that they should enter into a partnership so that the firm could practice as a firm of solicitors.
