[2012] EWCA Crim 1530

The combined effect of a young offender's early guilty pleas to involvement in conspiracies to supply class A drugs and his assistance given to the police by way of a statement implicating a more senior member of the conspiracy warranted a greater discount on sentence than the approximately 40 per cent given. A discount of approximately 60 per cent was appropriate and the sentence of four years and three months' detention was reduced to three years.
