[2009] EWCA Crim 1805

A sentence of four years' imprisonment imposed for an offence of domestic burglary committed by a drug addict with a history of committing domestic burglaries was excessive, given his guilty plea and the absence of further aggravating features. The minimum term of three years' imprisonment under the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000 s.111 was sufficient.
