Convictions for theft of a shotgun, acquiring a shotgun without a certificate and driving whilst disqualified were safe as the evidence against the offender was overwhelming. There was no unfairness in the admission of the recognition evidence of a police officer, who had been shown still images from a closed-circuit television recording and had been told that the appellant was suspected, as the full circumstances of the purported recognition had been before the jury.
