[2009] EWCA Crim 1096

A sentence of imprisonment for public protection with a minimum term of four years was manifestly excessive for three robberies and one attempted robbery in which the offender had covered his face and brandished a knife at staff working in betting shops. The appropriate minimum term was three years plus 60 days for an unexpired period of licence in relation to a previous offence.
