R v MINU PHAM (2008)

PUBLISHED December 9, 2008

A conviction for conspiracy to produce cannabis was upheld as, although the trial judge had been in error in focusing in his summing up primarily on the truth of the offender's confession, it was clear that the jury had been made well aware of circumstances where confessions might be untrue due to the manner in which they were obtained.
