Where the victim of offences of theft and deception had pursued and recovered a civil judgment against the offender, but the offender had no realisable assets following his payment in full of a confiscation order, it was appropriate to quash the confiscation order but to delay repayment of the confiscated sum for a certain period so as to permit the victim to take steps to secure its judgment against the offender in the interim.
