Two defendants' convictions were safe in circumstances where the jury had clearly returned guilty verdicts based on compelling video evidence and the parts of a victim's evidence that they accepted. The fact that two co-defendants were acquitted was immaterial as it was not necessary for their defences to stand or fall together.
