The imposition of an additional bail condition providing that the appellant remain in his house at all times except between the hours of 10 am and 12 noon daily did restrict his freedom to a substantial extent but it did not place him in detention nor deprive him of his freedom so his rights under the European Convention on Human Rights Art.5 had not been violated.
