[2010] EWHC 3430 (Admin)

A European arrest warrant was discharged where an offender had served his entire sentence while on remand in the United Kingdom. In those circumstances it was pointless to order his extradition, and the interference with his rights under the European Convention on Human Rights 1950 art.8 could not be justified.
