PUBLISHED March 30, 2006A minimum term of 20 years was set following a conviction for murder where the offender had been the driving force in the premeditated shooting of a rival gang member. The offender's enhanced prisoner status and conduct after sentence justified a reduction of 18 months from the minimum term.
