A European arrest warrant issued by French judicial authorities had established conduct amounting to an extradition offence where it set out evidence of a defendant's involvement in an alleged conspiracy to smuggle large quantities of untaxed cigarettes from Gibraltar, through France, to the United Kingdom. It was not necessary to decide whether one particular lorry-load of cigarettes had been stopped inside the French border when the conduct relied upon extended to more than one lorry.
