Lowering the Bar: has it become too easy to get on to a law degree course?

Stories abound this year of university law courses struggling to fill their quota of students ? dropping their A-grade requirements to do so. Students are being lured on to law degree courses by British universities desperate to fill places, even when they have only mediocre educational histories ? with foreign applicants seen as especially ripe pickings.
