[2012] EWCA Crim 2615
Where a defendant accused of aggravated burglary of a family home alleged that he had been identified by the father because he had been to the property before to buy cannabis from his son, the judge had been right to provide to the jury only a summary of police information relating to the son's activities. The jury had to remain focussed on relevant matters and the defendant had not be prejudiced by the decision.
