The owner of a parrot that was stolen during a raid by a burglar who feared it would talk to police, is appealing for help to find the missing bird.

Monty the African Grey parrot was taken in September 2004 by Bristol-based burglar David Carlile, who was jailed at Swindon Crown Court last Monday.
