When a client was found not guilty part-way through a multi-defendant trial, an advocate was not entitled to be paid the daily length of trial uplift for the whole of the trial of the remaining defendants since the entitlement to be paid the uplift was limited to the days when the advocate had attended trial and had acted for his client.
