1981 conviction for manslaughter quashed as unsafe under Criminal Appeal Act 1968, where the factual basis on which it was based was radically changed by the emergence of new evidence, and the court could not exclude any reasonable explanation for appellant's dishonesty on which heavy reliance was placed by the prosecution.
