The Court of Appeal gave additional guidance on the matters necessary to be included in an expert report in criminal proceedings. An appeal against a murder conviction failed where the criticisms of pathology evidence adduced by the Crown at trial were unfounded, and that evidence together with all the other evidence had afforded a sound basis for the jury's verdict of murder.
