[2012] EWCA Crim 1948

A judge had properly summed up a case in which the Crown was alleging joint enterprise and the defendants were running cut-throat defences. The judge's job was to give balanced assistance to the jury as to how they might reach their verdicts, and it was no part of his function to remind them of points deployed by the defence.
