[2001] EWCA Crim 2188
Where the appellant had committed a robbery of a sub-post office two months after his release on early licence from a sentence for another robbery on a sub-post office, a sentence of 12 years' imprisonment was quashed and substituted with a term of 10 years' imprisonment. However, the Court of Appeal did not interfere with a consecutive order to return the appellant to prison to serve the remainder of the earlier sentence.
