[2012] EWCA Crim 2968

A conviction for violent disorder following the riots in London in 2011 was not undermined by a failure to exclude recognition evidence that did not strictly comply with PACE codes of practice Code D3.36. It would have been disproportionate to exclude the evidence as the breach had been dealt with carefully and properly within the jury directions.
