In revoking a community order imposed in the magistrates' court and re-sentencing the offender to four months' imprisonment for handling stolen goods, following his conviction for a burglary committed during the currency of the community order, the sentencing judge had failed to make proper allowance for the summary nature of the original offence, for the offender's guilty plea, and for the extent of his compliance with the order.
