[2007] UKHL 5

A long-term prisoner entitled to the benefit of the release provisions contained in the Criminal Justice Act 1991 continued to be so entitled even if his licence was revoked and he was recalled to prison after April 4, 2005, when the provisions of the Criminal Justice Act 2003 relating to release on licence came into force.
