[2004] EWHC 1741 (Admin)

Under the relevant legislation where a probationary driver had more than six penalty points on his licence on the occasion that he was convicted of an offence, including points previously ordered to be endorsed on any licence held by him, the court was required to send the licence to the secretary of state who was required to revoke it.
