Labour will shift power back to British courts

No government trip overseas passes without human rights being raised. As William Hague, the Foreign Secretary, would testify, moral authority on human rights gives Britain considerable leverage over countries where standards are lower or where abuses are taking place. Underpinning this is our own exemplary record on human rights, with the UK pretty much top of the class in Europe.
