100s of £1000s was spent on the Judicial Review, with much thanks to the generosity of our members and supporters. However there is a huge shortfall. In the week that that procurement challenges are lodged the treasury solicitor has presented us with a bill of £46,000. As it presently stands the LCCSA and CLSA each needs to pay a sum of £23,000 each for taking this fight. We are voluntary associations run purely on membership subscriptions.  If 46 firms were to contribute £500 each we would be able to meet this payment immediately and allow the association to focus on representing its members on a range of criminal justice matters .
