John Reid could face prosecution under corporate killing law
PUBLISHED July 26, 2004The Government has delayed plans to bring in a law allowing companies involved in fatal accidents to be prosecuted after warnings that ministers could be held personally liable for deaths.
Downing Street has been accused of "hiding behind" legal advice that ministers could be prosecuted if people die due to problems with public services such as health or transport.
