Wearing crisp black blazers and grey regulation jumpers against the chill of an early autumn morning, the pupils of Corpus Christi Catholic College yesterday returned to school. Youngsters clambered out of parents' cars parked next to the freshly mown playing fields, high-fiving friends they hadn't seen for weeks. Some loitered at the gates, kicking their heels and chattering nervously in groups.
