[2010] EWCA Crim 2270

A farmer's convictions under the Cattle Identification Regulations 1998 and the Cattle Database Regulations 1998 were quashed as the offences he was convicted of related to contraventions of obligations in a European Regulation that had been repealed and replaced at the relevant time.
