[2013] EWCA Crim 523

A total sentence of eight' months' imprisonment following pleas of guilty to aggravated vehicle-taking and driving while over the limit was not manifestly excessive where the offender had been over two-and-a-half times over the permitted limit, had driven dangerously at speed through a red light, had placed passengers and other road users at risk, had failed to stop when indicated by the police, did not have a full driving licence and was uninsured.
