[2012] EWCA Crim 1778

A sentence of nine months' imprisonment was appropriate for a man who had committed one breach and two attempted breaches of a restraining order. The offender had significant previous convictions, but had not used any violence in breaching the order. The sentence was consistent with sentencing guidelines and reflected a frightening threat made by the offender to his former partner.
