Update re secure CJSM issues
 
The LCCSA and CLSA wrote to the LAA and MoJ last week regarding their concerns about the knock-on effect of the problems with both secure email and the portal.  The associations are pleased to report to members that the recent email from the MOJ concerning problems with secure emails was raised by the defence at the recent Criminal Procedure Rule Committee Meeting on March 18th. The President of the Queen’s Bench Division Sir Brian Leveson was extremely concerned about this news and is anxious that any such problems are solved as soon as possible. He has asked that the MOJ report to him before Easter about these problems and their prompt resolution.
 
Both the LCCSA and CLSA are doing what they can to support members at this time.
