The Crown Prosecution Service has applied to the High Court for a Serious Crime Prevention Order in respect of Curtis Warren. A hearing is expected in early December and Mr Warren, who is legally represented, has the right to oppose the application for the order. The aim of a Serious Crime Prevention Order is to prevent, disrupt or reduce a person?s involvement in serious organised crime. If granted, the order would come into force on Mr Warren?s release from prison.
