Instructed advocates must sign the form before it is completed

Under the Advocates Graduated Fee Scheme all AF1 and AF2 forms must be signed by the Instructed Advocate.

It is not acceptable for any claim to be signed by the barrister?s clerk dealing with the claim.

Forms that do not have an original signature on the certification will be rejected and this will lead to payment delays.
