[2007] EWCA Crim 1473

A defendant had received the appropriate discount in sentence for the provision of information to police officers concerning a major drugs conspiracy since the information had been provided at low personal risk to the defendant and, although it had disrupted serious organised crime, it had not enabled the authorities to apprehend those involved or halt serious criminal activity.
