R v SINGH (2005)

The extent of any reduction in the value of an assessment of proceeds of crime from drug trafficking to reflect the wholesale value of drugs had to be based on evidence and not on speculation. There was nothing to support the extreme proposition that the cost of purchase of drugs could not be taken into account to reduce the value of an assessment.
