[2013] EWCA Crim 840

An extended sentence of six years, including four years' imprisonment, was not manifestly excessive where an offender had pleaded guilty to making threats to kill his neighbour while brandishing an imitation firearm and a knife in separate incidents. The judge had been entitled to impose concurrent sentences but increase the sentence for making threats to kill to enable an extended sentence to be imposed.
